How Degenly works
Degenly is software for trading tokens on Solana, Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain from your own wallet. This page explains what you pay, what we check before you sign, and where the data comes from.
Your funds and keys
- Your funds stay in your own wallet. When you deposit or withdraw, you move tokens into or out of your own address; we never receive them.
- Every swap is signed by your own wallet: your wallet app approves it, or, with a Degenly wallet, your browser signs it during a session you start. Our servers hold no private keys and can't sign for you.
- We will never ask for your seed phrase or private key, and we never DM you first.
- Signing in is a message signature. It's free and doesn't move funds.
Fees
| Tier | Degenly fee | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 1.00% | Every wallet |
| High-volume | 0.75% | Wallets with $50,000 or more in swaps on Degenly in the last 30 days |
Same fee for every token and route. Charged only when a swap succeeds.
On Solana, invited users pay 10% less in Degenly fees: 0.90% instead of 1.00%, or 0.67% instead of 0.75% at the high-volume tier.
The fee is set on our server for your wallet. If a quote comes back with any other fee, we don't show it.
Total cost
Before you press the button, the swap panel shows one Total cost line. It adds up:
- the Degenly fee,
- the network and priority fees your wallet pays (only the parts you pay),
- the price impact of your trade size.
It is shown in dollars and as a percent of the trade. Fast mode shows the same line above the preset buttons.
Slippage is a limit, not a cost: Auto is capped at 10%, limits above 25% need an extra confirmation, and limits above 50% aren't allowed.
Checks before you sign
- We simulate the transaction and show what it will send and receive.
- Only a fixed list of Solana programs, and of router contracts on Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, is allowed. Anything else turns signing off.
- A price older than 5 seconds is marked Stale. After 30 seconds, buying and selling are locked until fresh data arrives.
- Quotes expire after 15 seconds. You then get a new quote before you can sign.
- Fast mode is off by default. When you turn it on, you set your own limits. A preset tap skips the in-app review only when the quote is inside every limit; your wallet still asks you to approve.
Fill report
After a confirmed swap, the Fill report compares the quote with what landed in your wallet: expected and received amounts, fill vs quote, your slippage limit, the actual total cost, and the slot and transaction link on Solscan.
